Sʜᴏᴿᴛ Sʏɴᴏᴘsɪs of The Wife Upstairs
In The Wife Upstairs, previous foster child, Jane, walks dogs for the wealthy and is barely squeaking by. Her life goes from 0 to 100 when she meets a handsome man in the neighborhood. They both seem a bit shady, though.
I checked this ebook out from the library and scarfed it down! Well, I didn’t eat it, but I did read it pretty darn quickly.
The characters are something else. There are the rich women, the sneaky friend, the girl with baggage, the wife, and the handsome fella that seems too good to be true. The only character I could like all the way through was the puppy.
Jane works hard to fit into this hoity-toity group. I hate that she doesn’t feel she can be herself.
Although it is easy to guess what is going on from the title, there are some surprises in the end.
I love a good thriller and The Wife Upstairs fits the bill. If you enjoy thrillers, give it a go!
