Thank you to Blackberry Tours, &  A.D. Lombardo for giving me a copy of The Traitor to read & review. Following are my honest thoughts.

The Traitor is a fantasy filled with different lands, royalty, magic, dragons, secrets, & lies. Although it started out slow, I enjoyed it more and more as I kept reading. Then I couldn’t wait to see what would happen.

Prince Kai is the main character. I found him to be extremely likable. He had high morals, could be emotional, & cared deeply for others. As the “traitor, he faced enormous setbacks & dangerous situations as he tried to do what was right. I want at least one likable character in a book. This one had several, but Prince Kai was my favorite by far.

The Traitor tells the tale of deceit amongst those who should be on each other’s side. Fights entail, making individuals & groups leary of each other. The plot includes so many people & unique situations making it hard, to sum up in a short review.

After the story warmed up, it was fast forward to the end. I needed to know Kai’s story. The ending was just what I hoped for. Overall, The Traitor is a good read. It takes you out of our world & into a fantasy world.
