I grabbed The Office when I was looking for certain picture books at the library. As I was flipping through them, I saw this book. I love the show, so I checked it out to see what it is all about.Β
I must say, it wasnβt too excited. It basically says that Michaelβs principal and teacher picked him for line leader. He says he needs two days before he starts because he wants to wait for his mom make him a cup that says Worldβs Best Line Leader.Β Β
Then he has trouble figuring out the best way to line up and ends up having the class help him.
I donβt feel there is much of a storyline or lesson to learn. As a retired elementary teacher, I can say I wouldnβt have read this to my class. It could have taught a great lesson about humility and asking for help, but this book barely touched on it.Β
Although it is for young children, I think The Office could have had a bit more to it.Β
