I grabbed The Office when I was looking for certain picture books at the library. As I was flipping through them, I saw this book. I love the show, so I checked it out to see what it is all about.ย

I must say, it wasnโ€™t too excited. It basically says that Michaelโ€™s principal and teacher picked him for line leader. He says he needs two days before he starts because he wants to wait for his mom make him a cup that says Worldโ€™s Best Line Leader.ย ย

Then he has trouble figuring out the best way to line up and ends up having the class help him.

I donโ€™t feel there is much of a storyline or lesson to learn. As a retired elementary teacher, I can say I wouldnโ€™t have read this to my class. It could have taught a great lesson about humility and asking for help, but this book barely touched on it.ย

Although it is for young children, I think The Office could have had a bit more to it.ย
