Two women, two cubicles next to each other in an office, and many unanswered questions after one of them goes missing.

I enjoyed reading The Coworker until I got to the end. It wasn’t satisfying and seemed the opposite of what would likely happen in the situation they were faced with.

In The Coworker, we hear from Natalie and Dawn, who are coworkers. They are both unlikeable. Natalie’s life choices are enough to make you despise her. Dawn is an oddball who is anal about everything and obsessed with turtles. And as the story ends, there is even more to dislike about them. Even so, they are well-developed characters who lead the story.

There were no earth-shattering moments for me. I figured out most pieces of the puzzle except for the ending. Honestly, I figured some things out not too much ahead of when they happened.

Nevertheless, I wanted to know what happened and if my guesses were correct. I plugged away at this and finished it in a day. Although parts of this sound negative, I did enjoy the story.
