Tears of Betrayal is an emotional read. My hate for Amber’s husband is real! I hope that nobody who reads it likes that jerk! There is betrayal, and there is BETRAYAL. Jeff goes with the latter choice. His parents are a couple of arrogant a-holes as well. There is no love lost on these three from my point of view. I certainly sided with Amber even though I didn’t understand some of her decisions.
Tears of Betrayal kept my interest as I hoped for the best for Amber and her daughter. Dalton enters the story as a fantastic father and lonely widow. Hmmm…could these two hook up? I certainly wanted them to.
Emotional, sad, happy, and overwhelming at times, Tears of Betrayal took me on a bumpy ride. There are characters to love, characters to hate, laughter, and tears. Every one of those things was realistic too.
The last thing to mention is the new fantastic cover! It drew me right in. Check it out!
