🧚♀️Locked Out of Heaven is such a satisfying read. Danielle’s world-building is spectacular. The characters and development of the two courts suck you straight into the world of the Fae. I could feel the characters’ grief when they were locked out of Heaven. This story winds its way around you, continuously pulling you back to it. I even found out that Fae is an acronym that stands for
🧚♀️I found myself favoring the Court of Light, especially Queen Aurora. King Jarvok had my sympathy for a short time, but that didn’t last. The Court of Dark ticked me right off, though their dragons are pretty cool!
🧚♀️There were many times that I stopped as I read a sentence or a paragraph, thinking about how well-written this book is. It immerses the reader in a fantasy realm that builds up right before your eyes. It is easy to visualize this story as if I was there. Danielle has a gift, and I hope she continues to delight us with her stories for many years to come.
Grab this beauty of a book and set aside some time to read the whole series, because you will want to. The story inside is as impressive as the artwork on the cover.
