I read Her, Too with a reading buddy group. I will start by saying the majority of the group didn’t care for this book. Although it was a bit scattered, I liked it.
The MC was rather annoying, and her thought processes weren’t always on track, but I attributed it to her frame of mind after experiencing trauma. People react in all sorts of different ways.
The MC’s husband was an odd portion of the story, but it did connect to the sordid main story at one point.
What many in our group thought was over the top, I saw as the excitement of a fictional thriller. That is what makes them exciting to me.
