Sʜᴏᴿᴛ Sʏɴᴏᴘsɪs for From the Ashes
Fantasy at its best!
From the Ashes is book three of the Birth of the Fae series, and what a series it is!
The war between the Court of Light and Dark is over. Both move on and tend to themselves until Queen Mary pulls a fast one. Bishop Awynn gives his life for the cause, and Queen Aurora is ready for revenge. Will her revenge include the Dark Fae?
From the Ashes is a marvelous continuation of the Birth of the Fae series. Fantasy explodes with dragons, Fae, magic, and yes, even romance. I hope you enjoy Zion’s explanation of aura blending as much as I did.
There are some surprises that I very much enjoyed. King Jarvok and Queen Aurora are on top of their game as they both make decisions for their people. As is always the case, not everyone is thrilled with those decisions. Could this lead to trouble?
Some well-placed wording, such as ‘troll’s balls,’ made me chuckle like a twelve-year-old girl. King Jarvok used such terms to show his frustration, and I am glad he did. That bit of humor is amusing.
As with all the books in this series, the scenes are vividly detailed, like they are painted on a screen for your enjoyment. The story comes to life immediately and grabs you, pulling you out of real life and into a fantastical delight!
Danielle is gifted with words! In addition to her detailed wording are the little extras she’s added to the pages. Beautiful frames, a map, a stunning cover, pretty font for chapter names, and tiny pictures surrounding the page numbers all show her love for this series.
From the Ashes is an entertaining and impressive read. I suggest starting at the beginning of the series, as you don’t want to miss a thing. Grab book one and get started. You won’t regret it!
