Daisy Field is a well-written and informative book. Along with the romance, it gives a Birds Eye view of the toll WWI had on the soldiers.
Although cheating makes me cringe, I couldn’t help but enjoy reading about Belle and her journey, especially her work caring for injured soldiers in England.
Gabrielle does an awesome job of making her characters feel real. Belle especially drew me in. She wore her emotions on her sleeve, not just for Ross either.
The story flows smoothly and ends, leaving you wanting more. Luckily, Daisy Field, book two, is available. I am anxious to see what life’s adventures have in store for Belle.
