Blue Christmas

Christmas Fiction
224 Pages
Short Synopsis
Blue Christmas is about a fun-loving, compassionate woman who tries to win the historical district store decorating contest every year without luck. Her store, Maisie’s Daisy, never quite makes the cut, and she plans on winning this year.
While doting on her store’s decor Weezie also deals with her boyfriend’s kooky family and a bit of a mystery due to some missing items.
My Thoughts
Blue Christmas is a lovely Christmas story. My visualizations while reading were divine. I could look at Christmas decor all day long. The beauty and peacefulness at Christmas are soul-soothing.This is the feeling I had while reading the author’s descriptive wording.
Amongst all the decor, a mystery intertwines between Maisie’s Daisy, Weezie’s home, and a tree pendant. It was easy to figure out what was going on, but it was still a pleasurable read. The idiosyncrasies of the characters added a certain spark to the story.
All in all, this is a quick read that is a perfect December reading choice!
