Escaping Anarchy
Sʜᴏᴿᴛ Sʏɴᴏᴘsɪs
In Escaping Anarchy, Molly takes her students to a prison, hoping it will scare them straight. The only other adult with her is Colton, an ex-Marine turned bus driver. When the power goes out, chaos ensues. Now they are on a slippery slope trying to break away from a prison without a safe exit and back to their homes.

Reading Escaping Anarchy takes me to a place that scares the bejeebies out of me. An EMP is scary enough without being in a prison where the convicts are loose and on the move.
I admire Molly and Colton. They are both honorable people with good hearts. Molly’s emotional strength and determination define her as a person.
As far as post-apocalyptic reading goes, this is a good story. Filled with heart-stopping moments that made me grit my teeth, Escaping Anarchy stirred my senses. I am anxious to read the next book to see how the story continues.
